Short diary, and I'm sorry I can't support it as much as I'd love to because I have a busy day ahead, but I think this is critical.
This will most likely not be a headline for more than a few minutes, but right now Google has this as a lead:
http://www.latimes.com/...
"McCain gets a slight edge among 14 undecided Pennsylvania voters"
What universe are they living in?
Every single major news agency has Obama winning this with relative ease. But those 14 unbelievably powerful voters in Pennsylvania, they clearly are the heart and soul of the American electorate. They must be the swing voters!
Look, in the past we've all said that Microsoft was "evil". They're pussies compared to Google lately. Whatever happened to "first, do no harm"? They've got 3 items in "US", 4 in "Elections" and McCain's name appears on 2; Obama's name is as absent as "Middle-class" in McCain's debate.
I'm sure that this is a minor flash-in-the pan moment, something that for all I know will be gone the minute after I post this, but this needs to be documented somewhere. This isn't the first time I've seen misleading leads, but this is perhaps the worst, most brain-dead they've done. Are others seeing what I am? Why are they so actively trying to swing this election to McCain?
